Hey Dana, very cool. I will have to try out the oatmeal thing. I've read about it, but never have done it. Congrats on losing the weight. It is so tough to keep it off after. I'm going to post a low fat chicken taco recipe this week, some come back later and take a look.

Hey there, great website. I just found it while searching for some Polenta recipes. I, too, have lost 44 pounds in the past year by a better diet and lots of exercise. I serve turkey burgers probably once every week or two. I can't wait to try your version with ricotta cheese. I usually mix turkey with oatmeal, ketchup, garlic, salt and pepper and they turn out pretty good. The oatmeal always cooks fast on the grill even on the lowest setting. I love turkey burgers on a lite bun. Thanks again!

So, we tried your turkey burgers for a bbq we had for Adrian's birthday and they were really good! I ended up making six patties, as I like my burgers to be a little thinner, and they turned out well. Nana, Brandon, and I all had them and the ricotta really made a difference. Yes, I have to admit, Brandon and I have made turkey burgers with bread crumbs before. For shame! Can't wait for your next "Marie friendly" recipe you post. Love ya!

lol, that sucks. I know how the hospital food can be. I can only imagine what a hospital chicken quesadilla looks and tastes like. At least you have internet access though, must be a nice hospital.

I'm sitting in the hospital with what they called a "chicken quesadilla" haunting me, and you're taunting me with this?!

How cruel is that my cyber-friend!

If you do the cottage cheese let me know how it works out. I want to try them with some sauteed onions in them next time as well. Not sure if they will hold up and not fall apart. They will need to be cut rather small.
